Mount Felix Vineyard and Winery started in Havre de Grace, Maryland in 2005 and overlooks the Chesapeake Bay.   The culinary inspiration behind RedFish came from our customers and the rich seafood and viticultural history of our region. Our customers would tell us that their doctors suggested that our customer(s) drink a few glasses of red wine each week and that they also transition from meat based proteins to diets that include more seafood. But many customers were concerned that it would be considered a “faux pas” to have red wine with seafood. Still others complained that white wines gave them hedaches and that thye were too sensitive to the tannins in many reds. So we created RedFish as a reserve blend with soft velvety tannins and light wood to compliment seafood. So indulge in RedFish for a great red wine seafood experience and stand "against the tide”.
